Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up the following posts:

Sr.Library Information Assistant in the Central Library (UR) 1 post

1.Qualifications & Experience

Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.(ii) Bachelor’s degree/equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognised University/Institute obtained after graduation. (iii) Experience of two years in a Library/Computerisation of a Library or one year certificate in Computer application from a recognised Institution or equivalent. Candidate appointed to the post will be required to work on shift duties and on holidays, whenever necessary.

Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800
with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/.
(Total emoluments on the minimum of the pay band is Rs.25945/including HRA).
2. Age limit : 32 years

3. Applications with full particulars quoting advertisement No.F48/
10-11 together with a Demand Draft of Rs.50/(No application fee for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai and copies of certificates/testimonials, caste (in case of OBC, latest noncreamy layer certificate is essential) etc. should reach the Registrar, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai400076 on or before 12 t h November, 2010.

4. Fulfilling minimum qualification may not ensure interview call letter.
